This year’s theme

5336E2CC-6BCD-4B91-9019-26AD6866CE84

This year’s theme is “Kaleidoscopic”.

“Kaleidoscopic” means “like a kaleidoscope, phantasmagoric,” everchanging shapes and colors. In Japanese, it is Hyakka Ryoran, which means “a hundred flowers blooming in profusion.” It represents the gathering of many talented people and ideas: Ideas Worth Spreading.

With this theme, this year’s TEDxKyoto will create an environment of unexpected colors and ideas, like a kaleidoscope’s complex patterns of changing colors and shapes, and create a magnificent story with a diverse group of uniquely talented speakers and performers.

We are working together to inspire the next generation, with a kaleidoscope of ideas and concepts. TEDxKyoto 2020 promises a Kaleidoscopic day of “Ideas Worth Spreading”. Please join us, and get inspired! Explore new ideas. Share different perspectives. Engage in community.
